Sometimes, a single location can only offer so much to do. However, London is the perfect destination, brimming with activities and attractions to fill any itinerary.

Think Like A Local

Take the tube. Go to a pub. Get a pint. Walk the streets. Get rained on.

We stayed in an Airbnb right in the heart of Notting Hill, and it was absolutely perfect. During our three-day stay, we easily took the tube into the city, ticking off everything on our must-see list.

Sometimes, the most memorable travel experiences come from simple, everyday activities. Strolling through charming streets or enjoying a pint at a local pub can offer an authentic glimpse into the city's culture. London has its own hidden gems—quaint hole-in-the-wall spots, secret underground clubs, and even floating restaurants—that make the city truly special.

Explore The Neighborhoods

Don't be afraid to explore! Not having a set route to get to where you are going can lead you into a whole new world you would have never seen otherwise. London is filled with stunning gardens, parks, and walking paths, making it the perfect city to take the scenic route and wander.

Be prepared for the weather during your trip to London, as rain is almost guaranteed at some point. When exploring the city, it's important to stay warm and comfortable, so be sure to factor the weather into your outfit choices. Don’t let the rain discourage you from strolling around—just pack an umbrella and enjoy the sights!

Chelsea is a wonderful neighborhood to explore on foot. While wandering around, we came across several cozy local pubs and, of course, couldn’t resist stopping for a pint of Guinness!

Back To The Basics

While embracing a local mindset is great for immersing yourself in a city's culture, visiting iconic attractions is also essential. On our trip, we had to be tourists once in a while and experience Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Big Ben, and even the British Museum.

If you know you want to enjoy these popular attractions, I would recommend booking things in advance. Purchasing tickets online is a convenient way to guarantee entry and skip long wait times. Again, the city is very easily walkable with the river being a central path you can take to get to many attractions. Plus, it’s a perfect way to soak in the views while making your way from one landmark to the next.

Overall, London is filled with so much life and vibrant charm which can sometimes be overlooked. Whether you're wandering through bustling markets, enjoying a quiet moment in a beautiful park, or discovering a cozy café tucked away in a narrow alley, London offers endless opportunities to experience its unique energy and character.
